A free, fun introduction to cricket for boys and girls. No experience or equipment needed, just come along and give it a try.

Missed the Day? You Can Still Join In
Our 2026 Come and Try day was held in August and has now passed. If your child missed it, that is absolutely fine. You do not have to wait until next year to get started.
Just get in touch and we will find a way for them to try cricket with us:
- Come along to a training session. We can arrange for them to join a session and see what it is like, with no commitment.
- Join a beginners team. We can place them in a team suited to players who are just starting out.
- You do not need a group. Individual players are very welcome. Sign up on your own and we will find them a place in a team.

Beyond Come and Try
Mixed Cricket at North Sydney
We have a place for every age, from a first go with a plastic bat right through to weekend team cricket. Where your child starts depends on how old they are:
- Cricket Blast, from 5 years. The gentlest introduction. Modified games in a fun, social setting, with all equipment supplied and parents joining in.
- Blaster Competition, U7–U8. The next step up, still modified and firmly beginner-focused.
- Stage teams, U9–U17. Proper team cricket in the mixed competition, with weekly training and games on weekends.
