What to Expect

A Fun First Taste of Cricket

Games & Team Activities

Fun, social activities designed to introduce cricket alongside other girls from the local area.

Batting, Bowling & Fielding

A mini-game where every girl gets a chance to have a go at the basics.

Try the Gear

Put on pads, gloves and a helmet, and grab a bat to see what it feels like out in the middle.

Friendly & Beginner-Focused

A relaxed, supportive environment with no pressure. It's all about giving it a go and having fun.

Meet Real Bears Players

Some of our current junior girls will also be there to help with the session and share what it's like to play cricket with the club.

Led by a Former Australian Player

The session will be run by our Girls Head Coach, Michelle Goszko, a former Australian player and passionate advocate for developing girls' cricket.

Beyond Come and Try

Girls Cricket at North Sydney

Come and Try is just the start. This season we're looking to enter new beginner girls teams, training together at Bon Andrews (North Sydney Oval No. 2) on Wednesday afternoons from 4pm.
